In this article we will explain how the merchant and customer are able to track the shipment that has been ordered through the Despatch Bay Shipping extension powered by WebShopApps:
The first step is to have an order which is in the ‘Pending/Processing’ state within Magento:
The next step is to chose the ‘Ship’ button which is located in the top right of the order confirmation page:
This will then bring you to the following page, where you will see the option to ‘Add Tracking Number’ :
Once this option is selected you will see some extra fields appear within the page. This is where you will choose the carrier of ‘Despatch Bay’, then you will need to add a tracking number for this specific shipment.
After all these details are entered you can then submit the shipment which is in the bottom right hand corner of the page. Please bare in mind if you would like to send this tracking and shipment information to the client you will need to select the tick box of ‘Email Copy of Shipment’.
Once the shipment has been confirmed this can be seen in the following location from the admin panel:
This view shows how the client will be able to track the order which has been shipped.
