Overview

If you have items which are assigned to more than one warehouse DropShip will select the warehouse that is closest per item. There is however the option for DropShip to look at which warehouse can ship the most items, and select that warehouse for all applicable items. This could be useful in saving your visitors money on shipping costs.

Configuration

There’s three types of warehouse:

1) Super Warehouse – This is a warehouse which will be used if more than one item in the cart is assigned to it.

2) Primary Warehouse – This is a warehouse which will be used if more than one warehouse is assigned to a item, and there’s only one item in the cart or no super warehouse is available.

3) Standard Warehouse – This is a normal warehouse. If more than one default warehouse is assigned to a item then the nearest warehouse to the visitors zip code will be selected for fulfilment per item.

This is configured under the Ship Manager -> Manage Warehouses menu. Select a warehouse and you will find this under Advanced Options
