I would like to add a handling fee to a shipping method based off the weight in the cart. How would I achieve this through the Handling Fees Matrix extension?

Solution

For this scenario I have created a CSV whereby if the product weight is under 25lbs the handling fee is only $4. If the product weights more than 25lbs then the handling fee will be $6.25. The screenshot below shows how you would configure this scenario through a Handling Fees Matrix CSV file:

When adding a handling fee to a shipping method, please ensure the delivery type name stated in the CSV is exactly the same as listed by the carrier.
