Changing the Error Message when no Shipping Quote

Scenario

I would like to change the message show to customers at the cart and checkout process when there are no quotes returned for the details that have been entered.

Solution

The way in which you would change this message is by navigating into the configuration panel of the extension by System->Configuration->Shipping Methods

Once you have navigated to this you will see this text box towards the bottom of the configuration panel for the WebShopApps extension:

errormessage

If you change the option called Show Method if Not Applicable to Yes, this will then display the message below when there are no quotes for the cart or checkout. Also the message below can be changed to display anything you would like to say.

Note: You will need to have the method set to yes to show the message. Also any changes to the text will need to be saved before these changes will be able to be seen.

It is also possible to change the error message based on the shipping rule that has caused shipping to not show.
