1. Different Rates To Different Countries
With the Premium Matrixrate extension you can filter the shipping based on the country you are shipping to.
To implement this rule you will need to state the countries in the csv using ISO-3 Country Codes
In the example CSV file when shipping to the mainland United Kingdom excluding Northern Ireland the delivery types of Next Day Business at £0, Am Delivery at £12 and Saturday Delivery at £12 will be shown at the cart/checkout pages. When shipping to France the delivery type of 48 Hour Service will be shown at a price of £40. This is the same scenario when shipping to Italy or Northern Ireland.
country | shipping rates shown |
United Kingdom (except Northern Ireland) | Next Business Day £0AM Delivery £12Saturday Delivery £12 |
France | 48 Hour Service £40 |
Italy | 48 Hour Service £40 |
Northern Island | 48 Hour Service £40 |
2. Restricting Rates To Certain Countries
In Premium Matrixrate you may come across the scenario where you are unable to ship via certain delivery types to certain countries.
In the example CSV file when shipping items these can go by Standard Delivery to all countries in the world apart from the USA.
3. Shipping to undefined countries
In this example CSV a flat shipping rate is used for USA and a different flat rate is used for all countries outside of USA, using the destination shipping rule logic.
4. Different Rates to UK, EU and Rest of World
In this example CSV the customer wanted to offer different rates to the UK, Europe and ROW.
