At WebShopApps we realise that the shipping needs of our clients as as diverse as the products they sell. For some of you the shipping groups are just not enough. To provide the extra flexibility of customizing the shipping rates for specific products only you can now filter by SKU instead of the pakage_id (AKA: shipping group) attribute.

To filter by SKU change the “Attribute to Filter Products On” to SKU (case-sensitive!), as per the following screenshot:

 

“Use text based shipping group” will also need to be selected in the “Advanced Options” multi-select field.​​

From here, the “shipping group” column of the CSV will be used to filter on the product’s SKU instead of the package_id:

Please note that the ability to filter by SKU was introduced in Product Matrix version 19.22. How do I find out which version I have?

Caution!
The maximum length of the “shipping group” column is 30 characters, which will also be a limitation of filtering on SKU.
