This extension is designed to provide Royal Mail shipping rates. It’s features include:
- Ability to specify products as being letter, large letter or packet – and allow for different shipping rates based on this
- Support for multiple countries on single line
- Ability to filter on weight, price and #items combined
- Capability to charge additional charge per unit of weight
- Completely csv file driven, change rates for your needs – no hardcoding
- Optional postcode filtering (e.g. charge more for Highlands)
The management of shipping rates is done via a csv file, which is uploaded to the database. Shipping calculations are then done via sql searches, providing efficient results.
