How to configure ASchroder’s SMTP Pro for use with Gmail or SMTP

1. Navigate to System > Configuration > System. You should see options for SMTP Pro.
2. We use Gmail for testing purposes but you can also configure it to use SMTP. Choose your option using the drop-down menu.
3. If using Gmail, fill out your email address and password in the “Google Apps/Gmail Settings” section.
   If using SMTP, fill out the “SMTP Settings” section as per your provider’s settings.
4. Once configured, save your config and click “Run Self Test”. This will send an email to the email address specified in System > Configuration > Contacts > Email Options
5. All done! You should receive an email confirmation.
