Overview
Usually carriers are configured via the System->Configuration->Shipping Methods page.
In some instances you may wish to configure the shipping carrier at a warehouse level. Examples when you might want to do this are:
- If you wish to limit the available Shipping Methods shown (e.g. for Warehouse A only show UPS Ground, for Warehouse B show UPS Ground, Next Day Air)
- When using multiple origin countries where you have to change the unit of measurement
- When setting up warehouse specific credentials
Configuration
Note: If using for FedEx, UPS, USPS you require the Dimensional Shipping extension to support this.
Under Shipping Mgr->Manage Warehouses or Dropship->Manage Warehouses in older versions you will see tabs for the supported warehouse specific carriers.
You can click on any of these tabs to then configure their settings on a warehouse basis. This will override any settings for the carrier under Shipping Methods.
