1. No Standard Shipping During Christmas Week

This example will show you how to disallow Standard shipping just for the week in which Christmas day falls.

There’s no need to make any changes to the CSV file, this is all managed within the admin panel.

Start by navigating to Catalog->WebShopApps Delivery Date Shipping. You’ll see see a field called “Week Commencing”, choose the Monday of the week you’d like to create a rule for, in our example that’s 22nd December 2014.

Now that you’ve chosen the week to address, we can start defining the allowed methods by navigating to the tab called “Weekly Available Methods”. In this tab you can select the methods to show for each day of the week we’ve chosen to address.

In our scenario, we’re deselecting “Standard” for every day of the week. Once that done click save and the rules will be applied.
