Hide Insurance Options for Specific Carriers

This example will guide you through the process to hide the insured option for the store pickup carrier.

Creating the Insurance Group

You must first create a insurance group which defines the charges for insurance and when it can be offered.

You’ll notice in this section that you can choose the shipping carriers that the insurance rule will apply to. For our example we will select everything except store pickup. Now save the group and that completes this part of the configuration.

Configuring Products

The final step is to assign the products to the newly created insurance group. You can also assign to all products through a product export and re-import or through the catalog->update attributes drop down menu.
