In this article we will explain how to create a ship via a custom shipping method created through using the Admin Based Shipping extension.

 

Firstly you must create an order within the admin panel of Magento. So if you navigate to Sales>Orders, you will see the highlighted button to start a new order.

Once you have done this you must choose which customer you want to place the order for, or you can create a new customer:

Then you will need to add the items for shipping to the order. Once you have done this you will need to choose the following option to obtain shipping rates:

If you cant to create your own method then you need to edit the method description and price into the following boxes. As shown in the screenshot below we want to ship these items via Courier delivery at a shipping price of $200

Once you have entered this shipping information you will need to choose the ‘Change’ button. This will then refresh the shipping methods, which will add this new custom method to the delivery options.

Afterwards you will just need to submit the order at the bottom of the page.
