Following the successful installation of the extension using our installation guide, you will need to get your CTS freight UID from Capital Transportation Solutions so that you can obtain live rates from their web service to your Magento site.
With your Client Code and Username at hand:
- Open Magento Admin
- Navigate to
Configuration->Shipping Methods - Enable the shipping method
- Enter your UID
- Set the rest of the configuration as required
- Save config
Note: Please note that the CTS freight web service supports a rate quote with a maximum of 6 unique freight classes and when more than 6 classes are in cart a message is returned to customer stating “This shipping method is currently unavailable. If you would like to ship using this shipping method, please contact us”.
