I am using the Residential Selector extension and would like to set the default Address type to Commercial. How can I achieve this?

Solution

The solution to this issue is to use the ‘Set Default Address Type To Commercial’ switch which is located under the Residential Selector configuration panel: System>Configuration>Shipping Settings>Residential Commercial Selector.

As you can see from the screenshot below I have the default option set as No and so when at the cart estimator I see the Address Type is set to Residential:

The following screenshot shows when I have the configuration option set to Yes. The Address type default is shown as Commercial:
